First floor view of chimney. We met with the mason and our builder this morning to plan the hearth area. The chimney will be bricked to the ceiling, and we'll have a circular brick hearth with a fan of bricks on the edge and a herringbone pattern inside that. There will be brick up 3-4 feet on each side of the chimney with a shelf on top.
Second floor view of the chimney. It will be behind dry wall next week.
All the drywall was dropped off this week. Huge sheets of it. The drywaller will come Monday to start this. After that, the rooms will be rooms!
